Reached The Rock around 8.30am for the event by Tupperware. They were setting up the stage and there were crew from Malaysia setting up their lightings and sound. Already not enough sleep and have to sit there doing nothing just to wait for them to finish setting up. It's boring, man!
When they were done, the sound guy started doing mic checks. Thought he's a pro but already by the look, he's like those that does "Ko Tai" kind of soundman. There's one point where he did something to the channel strip without cutting off the fader and there was a very loud feedback. Thought he knew what to do but noticed he just stood there doing something else. He didn't seems to response to that feedback at all! Quickly, I went to cut off the master fader. He still looked like nothing serious had happened. So I told him off in a serious way,"Can you don't do that"? He replied with a slacky, blurred, weak smile "Eh...sori, ah"! I tell you, if I had not have God's grace today, I sweared I'd punched him rite on his freaking face.
I was so damn bored that I started sms-ing people telling them how bored I was. Gary responded telling me he and the rest were having fun at church office. Deborah messaged me to play with my lappy or something, to keep myself occupied. Too bad, I didn't bring my lappy along today! As i was sms-ing people and replying them, someone came along and told me off in front of those contractors. Obviously, this person saw my facial expression as I looked bored and tired with no smiles on my face. How to when I'm tired. So, this person said out loudly "Don't forget where you get your money from, ah"! Immediately, a steward (video girl's father) added "Ya, I follow where the the money come from"! He a secular person. I can understand where he's coming from. But to have a christian telling where the money comes from is dissapointing.
The entire event was boring! When it finished, I quickly reset the board and took a cab to Kranji MRT station. From there, I hopped onto bus 170 that brought me to the customs. Went passed both customs and walked to City Square. When I reached the shopping centre, I wanted to call either Gary or Ping to meet up with them. Then I realised my phone didn't have autoroam. I only had the "pay-when-activate" service. I was supposed to dial *138*
#. But it kept flashing "Line's busy, please try again later"! SHARKS! How am I gonna meet up with them in a foreign land? I started speaking in tongues and in my mind, I was saying "God, You must help me!" As I was walking along the centre, while kept looking at my phone, I suddenly heard a voice calling me from afar. In my mind, I was thinking "Wah, the people in JB also know me, ah?" So, I looked up and started scanning where the voice came from. And hold and behold, I saw Ping in front of me, right smacked outside some boutique. God is really good, man! Thank You Abba. Did a bit of shopping there. Ping actually caught sight of a shirt that will suit me. So, I went to try it and it fits well. Kinda like the pattern too. So, I bought it at Rm$49. Cheap, siah!

Around 7pm, we gathered at Coffee Bean to wait for the rest to turn up. Suddenly, everyone seems interested in what Dave was reading. They crowd round him looking at the car magazine. All I could hear was comments on the babes in the magazine. I've got evidence to that...haha!

See......that's what they were looking at! They were talking about this babe's is prettier than the other. That babe's looked so ugly and stuff. Can you imagine that the girls joined in to that too?

When everyone turned up, we proceeded to Taman Sentosa to have seafood dinner. Called lots of food. I like steamed fish and clay fish. It's delicious, man!

Wondering what's Ah Seng doing?

What surprised me was the sugarcane juice. it came in a gigantic mug that's a bit extreme. Nowhere you can find them served in Singapore.

And Ping was so greedy to take 5 mugs of it!

All of us enjoyed the food and fellowship. They were all chit chatting away while I was eating all the food....haha! Then Dave, knowing I was taking pictures, wanted to show the sleepy and tired side of him!

Then, came a stranger, who wanted to share our food. Gave some food to it and allowed me to take some picture of it! It looked like it has acted in some movie or something........AH......Shrek 2, as a musketeer with hat and boots!

That's what's left after dinner!

After dinner, some of us went back to City Square to continue our shopping.

When we reached the custom, there was a huge jam. So, we decided to walk back to Singapore. When we reached back to this side, we were all sweating away. It's a good experience to actually walked the whole stretch of causeway bridge. Finally this time, I get to reach home first as my block is just about 500 metres away from the custom!
