Today was the first time I'm doing events at the Rock using the Yamaha PM1D board. I don't usually like using digital boards for live mix. I always have this concept that digital will always be digital. Digital sound is too define. But today, as I tried on this board, I'm amazed. It's looked stylish too, when the whole board is powered and lighted up.

Also, I always thought that digital boards are a little complicated to operate. But the PM1D has make things simple to use. Basically, it's more user friendly than the DM2000. The operation is very straight forward, more like an analog board.

In conclusion, this is the board I'm looking forward to operating. If Hillsong entertainment centre in Australia is using this board for their live mix, I don't see why we can't use it here. Well reccomended.
