Went to Sam's place for CG meeting. While waiting for the rest to come, Bin and I went down to the pond to feed the fishes. See how big are those fishes!! Bet they have been fed well!! Had some fun with the Koi fishes. Bin was trying to pet the fish....haha....so comical! The Kois thought my hand was food too.
Okay, this is where Sam and YY stays, Hillside Condos. Cool, right!
So, we had quite a filling dinner. All the food were bought at Bukit Timah market. Delicious, man.......except for the fried kway tiao. After that, as you can see, was P&W as the leaders rehearsing the songs with Julian leading worship.
Okay, that's what's left on the dining table. We almost glutton up everything.
After P&W, a few testimonial sharings before reccom meeting proper. Good news!! we are gonna have a few big events coming up. Bigger projects to take on. Church camp in June will be called as Singles camp. It falls on the 2nd week of June. This project will no longer handled by church but us, the Reccom Team. Halellujah!! Then, we have an adventure camp in September. It'll be at Kota Tinggi. Am looking forward to these events, man! That's where I can do lots of stuff that God has anointed me to do. Amen!
Back home, watched a chinese DVD titled "Yesterday Once More", acted by Andy Lau and Sammi Cheng. Don't actually understand the whole storyline though. Still wondering what's the whole story about. Okay, you may asked, then why watch it! Well, I'm a fan of Sammi, that's why! I sometimes wish she was my girl but too bad, we are from 2 different worlds.
Watched "Fahrenheit 9/11" and "Starsky and Hutch"! Oh, my, George Bush was so damn condemned in the movie by Michael Moore. Seems like there's lots of conspiracies going on in this world. But it's alright, I've got Abba Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit to conspire with me...hehe!
Emailed the lyrics of "The Reason" by Hoobastank to a friend. As I was typing the lyrics, I thought of her. I wish I could dedicate this song to her. Aargh, what was I thinking! So, I thought maybe I'll just post it here:-
THE REASON
I'm not a perfect person There are many things I wish I didn't do But I continue learning I never meant to do those things to you And so I have to say before I go That I just want you to know
I've found a reason for me To change who I used to be A reason to start over new And the reason is you
I'm sorry that I hurt It's something I must live with everyday And all the pain I put you through I wish that I could take it all away And be the one who catches all your tears That's why I need you to heaer
I've found a reason for me To change who I used to be A reason to start over new And the reason is you
I'm not a perfect person I never meant to do those things to you And so I have to say before I go That I just want you to know
I've found a reason for me To change who I used to be A reason to start over new And the reason is you
I've found a reason to show A side of me you didn't know A reason for all that I do And the reason is you
Woke up early to serve in hokkien service this morning at the Rock. Was trying not to look stoned. Waoh!! Hokkien service is growing fast, man! The auditorium was almost full! Praise God! A few more souls got saved this morning.
After tearing down, proceeded to indoor stadium to attend main service. Went to help Noel with his dept taking care of translation. Helped him to organise things a bit. The sound today was crab. Lots of high frequencies feedback. Hmm....where was she? Didn't get to see her today!
After packing up at indoor, Mark and me hopped on a cab to Geylang Lor 9 to meet up with Jason, Charmaine, Miss Teo and Shihao for dinner at the famous beef kway tiao stall. Well, took quite a number of pics there. But it was Mark who snap pics most of the time. At the back alley of the stall, I met another group of NCC people. It was a large group, about 3 tables. And as you can see above, David was caught by surprise that a paparrazi photographer snapped him red-handed having meal in Geylang....hahaha! Later, we went next door stall for "Dao Hua" and dessert.
Didn't remember who suggested going to town but I just blindly followed the gang. Hopped on bus 51, dropped off at City Hall MRT and hopped on bus 111. Alighted at Orchard and proceeded to Crown Prince hotel Swensens. Again, we ordered desserts. I actually gaggled down 2 cups of ice creams. Boy, I could eat, man! Mark took some pics there. Noticed ShiHao and Miss Teo shared a ice cream!!
Reached home and tried to upload the pics so I can post them here!
Had a enjoyable day! Combined service was good. Went to join the reccom guyz for dinner @ Tien Tien Steamboat restaurant. It's supposed to be a farewell dinner for Rach but we were too engrossed with the food cause all of us were hungry. Everyone were enjoying the fellowshipping of one another, except for one! Oh, "God of Gamble" was there too. I managed to snap the back view of him...haha! Andy was so nice. He peeled all the prawns for us. The evidence of his work was also been recorded down...hehe!
After dinner, we were splitted into 2 groups. 1st group, which were Rach & sister, JieYing and ShiHui, went Mr Bean to chillout. While the 2nd group, which is the rest, went Mt Faber to fellowship and chill. A place called Altivo Bar. As you can see, YY did "The Shutter" thingy. Well, had lots of fun but also tired! Got to be @ the Rock by 9.30am to setup for Hokkien service.
