Quite a busy day today! Went to Rock to do event early morning till 1 plus. Was about to rest after resetting the sound system, Lion asked me to help him fix up the receivers to the new rack. By the time it's done, it's almost 3 plus. Called Yvonne straight away to arrange to go to Esther and Sam's wedding dinner. We finally took Mike's car.
We were there early to setup the necessary things. I was there to help with the sound stuff. Dinner was great but I had to leave early for a meeting with Jo and gang. She wanted to discuss with me about the music for jap nite. So, there I was seated with the girls at Suntec Starbucks.

The meeting ended around 12 plus and I was dead tired, man! Straight away shared a cab with Jo and zoomed back home to get some rest!
Hokkien service was at the Rock this morning! As it's Pastor's birthday, main service was held at the Indoor Stadium! Daniel was doing sound check and he seems to have problem with the electric guitar mic. It kept having feedback similar to yesterday's combine meeting. Just as I've suspected, it's because the electric amp was too soft to be picked up by the mic thus, when Daniel couldn't hear from FOH, he actually increased the gain and channel fader. By doing so, it over amplified the signal which created the feedback! Then, Daniel encountered another problem! The keyboard was buzzing. Went to check and realised the D.I. wasn't "on" in the first place. Then, Michael Boon highlighted another problem! How the heck did the bassist connect his bass for combine meeting when there's a pre-amp on top of the Goliath amp? It's pretty obvious that the bass wasn't connected to the pre-amp at all but direct to the snake junction box! He said that it's as good as having a Ferrari car frame but the engine was put outside the car! Kinda comical at this point! What he meant was, what's the point of having a pre-amp there when it's not even connected! So, I told him that I'll take note to that (even though it wasn't me who did the setup the day before)!
After the service, took a cab to indoor to attend main service. When I entered, I noticed the backdrop of the stage. It was so appealing to me! It's kinda of look Hillsong style of backdrop. later, I was informed that it was left over by last nights Tracy Huang's concert! I like it! Didn't have a chance to take a picture of it though!
After the service, there's a meeting with thte bus captains and group leaders conducted by Sam and Andy! after that, we proceeded to lunch at Beach Rd, some chinese restaurant along the shophouses. Food was great, man! Reallly filled to the brim of my stomach, siah!

That was what's left on the table after lunch!

Then most of us went over to Concourse Starbucks for caffine intake!

Later, we were playing "Hide & Seek" inside Concourse. We were like kids running around the whole building. First, it was Rach & ShiHui "Pa-san". They had a hard time looking for all of us! Then, for no apparent reason, Bridget & I kana "Pa-san" for second round! Ran round the building with Bridget and finally found the whole bunch hiding together! actually didn't take that long to find them! Then, we went to Burger King to have our dinner. A few of them got some Star Wars toys from the meal purchased. Rach and ShiHui started playing with the toys as if like 3-year-old kid. Sharon joined in too. Hai.....kids!

Then, Bridget became a kid also. She was holding on to R2D2 and wheeling it round the table. Oh, man! The "kid virus" is contagious!

Gary suggested that we should go for JLD (Jesus Loves Durian) at Upper Serangoon. So, we went! Wow, the durians there was good, man! Bought some mangosteen too. We found out that Sharon and Bridget didn't know how to eat mangosteen....haha! After trying out one, they found that the fruit is not bad after all!

It's getting late! Washed our hands and went home to rest!
