Reached the Rock early today, around 7.50am, for an event by Prudential. It's lasted till 1pm. Went home straight after that to rest a bit! Took a nap. Woke up abot 7 plus, changed and took a cab back to Suntec. Went into Levi's shop to purchase a 517 bootcut jeans as I had a $50 voucher. Got Mark to repair my lappy at 4th floor.
When service ended, went to Starbucks Suntec to meet the team for meeting. Too bad, Starbucks had no seats, so we proceeded to Oscars at Conrad for supper and meeting.
Dave was doing some funny dance.
Then I tried out taking pictures in sepia.
Meeting ended late, around 12 plus. As we were still mingling outside the hotel, Gary slinged his bag over his shoulder and he looked like a typical schoolboy again. Then we saw a yellow Lamborghini Diabolo parked right outside the hotel. Dave and I decided to take a pic with it!
Nothing much happened today. Just the usual work stuff at the Rock. Lion is back to work today. That means I can have my big break.....Phew! So, I started handing over to him all the outstanding works pertaining to the Rock.
Came home kinda early. Went for a long bath. Check my mails while waiting for confirmation if JLD is "on". Finally, Bin replied. To meet at 10.15pm for JLD. Yea!! Can eat durian again. Got there by cab. It's not the usual kinda crowd we always sees. It was very quiet, no crowd. Later did I realised that durian season's over. That explained. Took a few pics.
Anella supposed to join us but her movie finished late. We were about to go off already. Too bad, she'll just have to wait till the next better time....hehe!
It's been a long time since I've met up with my ex-colleagues from HMV. All of them had since resigned from the stupid company that had no welfare. They were at mummy's house for a gathering as everyone's off cause it's National Day. I was honoured and favoured to be invited cause not all were called. There were delicious food cooked by Bandi and assistant chef, Jolene. At the same time, this was also a house warming for mummy. When I reached there, I was greeted by mummy's son, Shahkiel. he's abt 4 years old....I think! As I enter the house, I could smell smoke of cigarettes. Right at the back in the kitchen, there were about 4 people smoking away. I can understand why. I was a former smoker myself. While eating, I was talking to various people about the good old times back in HMV days. They were also enquiring about how's Robin doing. You see, Robin was also formerly from HMV. In fact, he was my supervisor. There and then, I was putting my new phone into good use, taking pictures! Here are some of them. Let me introduce them to you.

Some were eating away while some were puffing furiously away at the kitchen window.
At about 6, I took a cab from Hougang to Holland V to meet the reccom team for dinner-cum-meeting. Gary had returned from Perth and had booked a table at this stylish fusion japanese restaurant. I think it's called Raku. The place is very classy not mention the price too. But it's Gary who wanted to bless us. Thanks, brudder! It's a little dark in there, so, pictures turned out a bit dark & grainy.
After dinner, we went to TCC for our meeting. The conceptualisation of the rally was taking shape. We had lots of places suggested for all the intended stations. Of cause, in the midst of the meeting, we had lots of laugthers and distractions. Like Ah Seng disturbing Bin.
Dave was the chairing the meeting with his notes. I received a BIG ARROW from Bin to take minutes. As you can see, I was scribbling away trying to catch up.
Again, while Dave was concentrating on the meeting, Ah Seng "bullied" Bin again.
Then Bin tried to act "cute", while trying to give a few suggestions of places to Dave. Later, she was showing us her bruises she got from roller-blading.
Dave invited me to Fitness First at Paragon for a little tour. So, I went. As Dave was busy, he had asked a membership consultant, Amy Koh, to attend to me. She brought me around the place to view the various facilities installed. Met Rach there, who had been waving at me since my arrival outside the gym. Saw Dave busy training a client. Then, a handsome looking guy came over to greet me. He even knew my name. I politely told him I couldn't remember who he was. And he told me he's from New Creation also. My mind was running through my data bank, trying to fit this guy's profile as Amy continued to explain the membership thingy to me. When we were having discussion, I saw Eileen & Jo passed by. Seemed like they had just finished their workout. Didn't saw Mei though, until much later. The deal seems good. Double checked with Dave on the price before giving an answer to Amy. Finally, it's done! They took a picture of me to process the card and that's it, I'm now a member of Fitness First.
Now I remember who that guy is. He's name is Dexter, one of the facilitators who helped us during camp. He was stationed at the slope challenge. No wonder he's familiar. Praise God that there's lots of New Creation people in Fitness First. I feel at home...haha! Even the instructor who teaches fitness combat is from church.
After waited for the girls to freshen up, we went to kopitiam at youth park for supper. All of them were like so happy & enthusiastic about me joining the club. I wonder why....hehe! But I guess, on my part, it's about time I should start to shape up a little. Have been laying off exercising for way too long.
