Quite a busy day today. Went down to see my lawyer to sign some documents. He has since shifted his office....AGAIN! Have to look for the building along Robinson Road. As you know, there's lots of tall buildings along Robinson Road and they are so closely built to one another that you can't make out where's the end of the block. Finally, I found the building. Went up, signed the papers and then he called his assistant, June, to bring me to another building to the commisioner to witness the signing of the papers and authorising it! Sigh.....so troublesome.
Right after that, went to The Rock to look for Maddy to collect the Mipro for saturday's basketball competition. Was about to go off from there when I met up with an old HMV colleague in the bookshop. She's waiting to meet Sarah, our marketing manager of The Rock. Stopped to chat with her for a while and found out that she's been promoted from sales to assisting to run the office of Integrity Records here in Singapore. From our conversation, she seems stressful to take on the job. She was like saying it's a BIG burden to take on this responsibility doing God's work. In my mind, I was thinking, "Hey, you don't have to do God's work!" So, I told her not to worry so much. With greater responsibilities, God's grace abound even more. Then, we were interupted by Sarah. Then, I left to take a cab home.
Back home, went to check my inbox for mails. Had my dinner, changed, went down to the petrol kiosk carrying a ice box to get some drinks and ice. They were meant for the reccom guys. Figured they probably needed lots of water after the game. Took a cab to Evans Road. That's where the guys were doing a simulation for the upcoming basketball competition. Haha......guess who I saw? I saw both of them. She was dressed in her working clothes. it seems kinda out of place as she's the only one who dresses like that in the whole entire basketball court. Well, it's okay, I still like the way she dresses. Kinda stands out from others. As for me, I had my jeans on and a polo top with my gortex boots. David almost couldn't recognized me cause I seldom wear such attire. On and off I was playing around with Ah Boon and Julian.
After a round of the game, we proceeded into the indoor courts where Ping briefed us on the location and logistics. Then went to Adam's Road for supper. The prawn & but kut teh noodle was good, man! The prawn was big and the soup just tasted so good. Above all, I had great time fellowshipping with the reccom guys.
While on the way home, I found out that she actually has a blog online.
Am listening to Hillsong United latest album. Too bad, I don't have lyrics available right now to post it here. Like the songs "All I need is You" and "There is nothing like".
Was at The Rock early to setup for combine meeting. While doing sound check, someone said hi to me. Due to lack of sleep, I was like who was that? I, for a moment counld not regconised who this person was. But she kept smiling. My brain was running at very slow speed, trying to run through a list of names and people that could matched who was her. OH.... it was her I met at supper the night before. Very nice of her to greet and acknowledge me. Felt happy and honoured.
Today's meeting was awesome. Actually, I was dozing on and off during message. It was June who was beside me that gave me a slight push to wake me up. After meeting, I went to Phin's at Liang Seah Street to meet up with the reccom guys. As I entered the cafe, I caught attention of a group of people standing right opposite of the cafe. As I looked closer, I caught sight of her again. She was gonna dine at the restaurant opposite the cafe. Hmm...coincidence, maybe.
Fell asleep in Sam's car on the way home. Guess am too tired. Now, am wondering how am I gonna get through tomorrow. Have to be at Hokkien setup by 7am....sigh! Lord, I've got no strength but Your strength is all I will relay on to get through tomorrow. Thank You, Lord!
